AB is a qualified Mechanical Fitter and Welder with trade and advanced trade certifications in coach and heavy transport engineering. With over 20 years’ experience in mechanical fitting, fabrication, and plant maintenance, he has worked across major industrial sites including Glenbrook Steel Mill, Oji Fibre Solutions, and Allied Concrete. Skilled in both workshop and site-based work, AB combines strong technical knowledge with a proactive, safety-focused approach.

Skills & Experience:

• Mechanical fitting, maintenance, and repair of turbines, valves, and pumps
• MIG, TIG, and stick welding across structural and plant applications
• Shutdown coordination, confined space, and working at heights
• Fabrication and installation of mechanical and structural components
• Operation of EWP, gantry crane, forklift, and rigging equipment

• Trade Certificate & Advanced Trade Certificate – Heavy Transport Engineering
• Welding Certificates – MIG, Flux Core, and Arc (all positions)
• EWP, Working at Heights, Gantry Crane & Forklift Licences
• Class 2, 4, and 5 Heavy Transport Licences + Dangerous Goods Endorsement
• Leadership & Management Course – Fiona Malcolm Training & Development
