DM is a trade-qualified Mechanical & Maintenance Fitter with decades of experience across high-speed manufacturing and heavy industry. He completed his apprenticeship with British Steel and has worked in New Zealand’s FMCG and metal manufacturing sectors ever since. He is highly skilled in plant maintenance, fault diagnosis, shutdowns, and rebuilds, with strong pneumatic and mechanical knowledge. He is reliable, practical, and known for staying calm under pressure.

Skills & Experience:

• Mechanical fitting and fault diagnosis in high-speed bottling and packaging environments
• Maintenance and installation of Krones fillers, PET blow moulders, and canning lines
• Pneumatic systems (up to 40 bar), welding, and general machining/fabrication
• Maintenance and team leadership in automated foundries and CNC/robotics environments
• Experience with electrical and PLC equipment – fault finding and resolution
• Shutdown and rebuild experience across FMCG and food-grade production lines
• Strong communication, clear documentation, and collaborative under tight deadlines
