BJ is a qualified Fitter Turner with extensive marine and mechanical engineering experience across fabrication, machining, and maintenance. Over his career, he has worked with Babcock NZ and Alloy Yachts on vessel systems, heavy machinery, and plant installations. Known for his precision workmanship and reliability, he is experienced in both hands-on maintenance and supervisory roles.

• Marine and mechanical fitting, assembly, and repair
• Machining and fabrication for plant and vessel systems
• Preventive and reactive maintenance on turbines and hydraulic systems
• Installation of pumps, compressors, valves, and piping systems
• Experienced with confined space and shipyard safety procedures

• NZ Trade Certificate – Fitting & Turning (AIT)
• Certificate in Boatbuilding & Marine Systems (Level 4)
• Mechanical Seals, Swagelok & Tube Bending Training
• Working at Heights, EWP, and Site Safe Certified
• Forklift and Gantry Crane Licences
