JD is a multi-skilled contractor with a high level of capability and experience in metalwork, mechanical and electrical work. Arriving in NZ from the UK 18 months ago, his assignments with Techtrade have included Mechanical Assembly, Stores & Trade Assistant work.

- Mechanical assembly of baggage handling equipment
- Assembly, on-site installation and maintenance of incinerators
- Sheetmetal fabrication
- Forging and ironmongery (including structural and decorative work)
- Welding of frames, hinges, skids, trailers and waste bins
- Stores work, including inwards and outward goods and stock control

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (UK)
- Diploma in Blacksmithing & Metalwork (UK)
- Diploma in Electrical Installations – L3 (UK)
