MD is a qualified Fabricator and Welder with over 20 years of trade experience across New Zealand and Fiji. Holding a Trade Certificate in Welding & Fabrication and multiple site tickets including EWP, Boom Lift, Forklift, and Site Safe, he is a versatile tradesman confident across structural, marine, and industrial fabrication projects.

Skills & Experience:

• Heavy fabrication and welding – MIG, Stick/Arc, TIG, Flux Core, Aluminium, Stainless, and Mild Steel
• Structural steel fabrication for residential and commercial projects – walkways, stairs, handrails, conveyors, silos, and tanks
• Marine fabrication and aluminium welding for superyachts and shutdowns (Fitzroy Yachts & Fitzroy Engineering)
• Rolling mill maintenance, conveyor systems, and shutdown project support (Pacific Steel, Methanex, Laminex, Pohokura, Balance)
• Confident working to drawings and completing fabrication in all welding positions

• Trade Certificate in Welding & Fabrication (Stage 1–5) – Fiji
• Craft Apprenticeship – TPAF & FIT
• EWP, Boom Lift, Forklift Licences
• Site Safe Access Certification
• First Aid (NZ Red Cross)
