SRP is a Red Seal-certified High Voltage Electrician and Electrical Engineering Tutor with extensive experience in HV line work, switching operations, and electrical safety training. He has over a decade of field experience, working on reticulation systems up to 275 kV, combined with his current role delivering vocational electrical training in New Zealand.

Skills & Experience:

• High voltage line installation, maintenance, and fault repair (11 kV, 33 kV, 132 kV, and 275 kV)
• Authorized HV switching, testing, earthing, and safety procedures
• Electrical trade test (heavy/light current) with strong fault-finding and diagnostics capability
• Operation of mobile elevated work platforms, chainsaws, and HV safety equipment
• Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations, ARC flash suit protocols, and confined space procedures

Qualifications:

• Electrical Trade Test – Red Seal Electrician (Heavy/Light Current)
• NZ Certificate in Adult & Tertiary Teaching (Level 4, in progress)
• Electrical Engineering N3 (South Africa)
• First Aid – New Zealand Red Cross & NOSA Health and Safety
• High Voltage Authorization (testing, earthing, switching up to 275 kV)
