IS is a certified Welder and Fabricator with over 14 years’ experience across marine, oilfield, and truck manufacturing sectors in Sri Lanka, the UAE, and New Zealand. Skilled in ARC, MIG, TIG, and MAG welding, including 6G pipe work and structural fabrication, he is recognised for his high-quality workmanship, ability to interpret complex blueprints, and commitment to safety. Currently based in Auckland, IS continues to deliver precision welding and fabrication work on a range of industrial projects.

• 14+ years’ experience in structural and pipe welding (ARC, MIG, TIG, MAG)
• Certified 6G pipe welder with marine, oil & gas, and truck fabrication background
• Skilled in machine operation: shearing, bending, rolling, cutting, levelling
• Strong understanding of welding quality assurance and safety protocols
• Experience training and mentoring junior welders

• NVQ Level Certification in Welding and Fabrication
• 6G Pipe Welding Certification
• MIG 3G, ARC, TIG 1G Welding Certifications (AWS and Colombo Dockyard)
• Welder Training Programme – Colombo Dockyard PLC (3 years)
• Forklift Operator Certificate (AWS licensed)
