DP is a trade-qualified Fitter and Turner with over 18 years of international experience across mechanical maintenance, fabrication, and plant operations. He has worked extensively in New Zealand and South Africa across sectors including industrial gas, timber processing, mining, and manufacturing. He is skilled in fault diagnosis, shutdowns, gas systems, hydraulics, and structural fabrication. Known for a positive attitude, great technical knowledge and strong communication skills he is a great asset to any team and is looking for a long term contract or permanent role as the next step in his career.

Skills & Experience:
- Mechanical fitting, gas system installation and maintenance, and fault diagnosis
- Plant shutdowns, pump repairs, hydraulics, gearboxes, and fluid systems
- Fabrication, welding, and structural assembly for manufacturing and transport
- Industrial gas system installation and compliance (BOC)
- Equipment maintenance in timber, steel, and packaging production
- Overhead crane, lifting gear, and conveyor maintenance
- Team leadership, apprentice training, and contractor coordination
