He brings deep expertise in plant maintenance, breakdown response, and mechanical fault finding across critical water infrastructure and treatment systems. He’s known for being calm under pressure, has wide-ranging mechanical knowledge and the ability to “think outside the box”.

• Extensive utility and marine sector background – from Watercare to wharf and pipeline work
• Worked on critical projects in NZ and the Pacific – including plant upgrades and large-scale installs
• Mechanical fitting, fault diagnosis & breakdown repair
• Welding, fabrication, and assembly of mechanical systems
• Hydraulic, pneumatic, and pump system maintenance
• Plate & gas cutting, slinging & basic machining (older lathes, pressers, croppers)
• Site supervision, H&S committee experience
